Kia ora! 
I’m Josh, a freelance illustrator based in Tāmaki Makaurau.
I've always enjoyed drawing stuff and I love getting to create extremely stupid pictures every day. I want to keep making bigger and weirder things to help grow the local illustration scene here in NZ — and also pay my rent!
When I'm not hunched over a desk I do my best to stay engaged with local grassroots politics and community events — particularly the Auckland Zinefest, where my role as Art Director keeps me busy (and hunched over a different desk) throughout the year.
I also love a cheeky visit to my favourite cafe across the road for the world's best coffee and a yum-as slice.
